Nancy loves the tourism industry. Customer centric to the core, she is a builder; not the bricks and mortar type, rather one who builds the skills and knowledge of people in the tourism industry.
Professionally trained as an educator, instructional designer, evaluator and researcher, Dr. Nancy shifted her career into tourism 20 years ago and never looked back.
A co-founder of the Tourism Cafe and an expert on experiential travel, she walks the talk when advocating that businesses “Dare to be Different” in a competitive marketplace.
Often called the Energizer Bunny, Nancy’s energy is felt throughout Canada and abroad as she designs and delivers interactive and engaging tourism training, often with the Tourism Cafe’s collaborating partners.
A sought out conference speaker, Nancy is passionate about the value of small, medium, and rural business as she works with destinations to diversify their visitor appeal and formulate strategic and destination plans.
A musical theatre buff she also loves cycling, hiking, swimming, and travelling.

A family man at heart, he loves spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. But he’s also a golf maniac who can be found planning the next getaway with his mates.
