E-LEARNING

We are thrilled to announce that Tourism Saskatchewan has acquired its full collection of English-language tourism e-courses.
Tourism Café Canada is pleased to announce that Tourism Saskatchewan has acquired its full collection of English-language tourism e-courses.
The courses are now part of Tourism Saskatchewan’s extensive training and development portfolio. And the courses are available to tourism operators in Saskatchewan and the broader Canadian tourism industry.
For the past six years, Tourism Café’s e-courses have provided practical, accessible professional
development for thousands of learners and dozens of destination partners across Canada. The courses
have helped tourism professionals, businesses and organizations strengthen their skills, build capacity
and respond to changing industry needs.
“We are extremely proud of what our e-learning program has achieved over the past six years,” said
Nancy Arsenault, Managing Partner of the Tourism Café Canada. “Thousands of tourism professionals
have participated in the courses, and we have worked with dozens of destination partners to support
their training and development goals. Tourism Café and Tourism Saskatchewan have enjoyed a long-
standing collaborative training relationship, making this a natural and exciting next step for the courses.
It feels especially fitting that they will now be based in my home province of Saskatchewan.”
As the Tourism Café moves into the next phase of its evolution, the company has chosen to step away
from the research, design and development of asynchronous online learning.
“Tourism Saskatchewan has a strong commitment to industry development, experience development,
and destination development,” Tourism Saskatchewan CEO Jonathan Potts said. “We are delighted that the courses will become part of our extensive collection of tourism training resources and continue to serve tourism professionals and organizations.”
