  • Destination British Columbia. (2019). Refreshed the course content for the Remarkable Experiences Training Workshop.

  • Backroads. (2018-2019). Led the development of an instructional design framework and training program development activities for an 11-module company-wide training program as part of a new computer systems implementation to increase corporate efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Collingwood Centre for Business and Economic Development. (2017). Expert training advisor on the creation of a Professional Development Strategy for the Tourism Sector to identify training solutions for operators and investment needs and define the associated administrative structure to manage the future training program. Collaborating partner: Brain Trust Marketing & Communications.

  • Destination British Columbia. (2016). Designed the Remarkable Experiences 3-module curriculum framework, the experiential travel module and the train-the-trainer program. 

  • Tourism Northern Ontario. (2014-2015). Co-developed the Tourism Excellence North Tourism Development and Business Plan to guide federal, provincial and municipal investment in product, experience and destination development. Collaborating Partners: Tourism Synergy and the Tourism Company. 

  • Thompson Rivers University. (2012 - 2013). Advisor to the degree development activities leading to a ministry proposal for a new degree:  Masters of Tourism in Experience Studies.

  • Texas Historical Commission. (2012). Designed their Heritage Tourism Product Development Training Plan. 

  • BC Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training. (2012). Authored the Product and Market Development Chapter in Cultural Heritage Essential Tools training manual, including a Fairmont Empress Hotel case study.

  • Alberta Parks, Tourism & Recreation. (2011). Conducted the study to develop the provincial business model for tourism training for Learning, Enrichment and Experiential Travel including six experiential travel best practice case studies.

  • Destination Canada (formerly the Canadian Tourism Commission). and Gros Morne Institute for Sustainable Tourism. (2011). Developed two bilingual (French/English) online training videos on experiential travel.

  • Canadian Tourism Commission. (2011). Authored the 2nd edition of the Experiences Toolkit which included five case studies on best practices in experiential travel.
