"Here’s what a few colleagues and participants have said about some of the founding partners' training capabilities over the past few years.

Mary Nelder, General Manager, LaCloche Manitoulin Business Association

LAMBAC recently hosted an experiential tourism workshop for tourism stakeholders on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. The Tourism Cafe’s enthusiastic, knowledgeable instructors (Nancy Arsenault & Celes Davar) prepared the content for the workshops, which they delivered via an innovative ‘blended learning’ technique that combined on-the-ground local facilitation team with experts who were ‘beamed in’ from across the country. We had the Tourism Cafe’s instructors on a large screen, and established two-way microphones and live video-streaming. The two days of workshops flowed seamlessly, thanks to their extensive planning and great attention to detail. It was an extremely effective method of delivering these workshops, which were both relevant and practical for participants in our region. We received much positive feedback from participants, including phrases such as: “Great foundation to build on! THANK YOU!” and “Definitely provided motivation when I have felt STUCK with my business!”. Feedback on the instructors included words such as ‘passionate, professional and extremely knowledgeable’, and words such as ‘enlightening, interesting & thoroughly enjoyable’ were used to describe the workshops overall."

"After learning with Todd over the past few days, I find myself asking, 'This makes so much sense, why haven't we been employing these strategies for our association on our own?' The answer is that Toddles knows his stuff."
