Our home team is small, but our network is large ... and this is intentional.
Our business model is based on partnerships so that we can access the right knowledge experts for the job, when they are needed. When our training partners aren’t engaged in a Tourism Cafe activity, then they are running their own businesses or working for a tourism company.

We know the quality of learning we can deliver is based on theory, practice and real world experience, that’s why we look for that unique mix of talent in people who fully appreciate small and medium business development in tourism, rural and urban differences, and our key tourism sectors.
The trainers in our network come from different backgrounds which provides diversity and perspective. Some are entrepreneurs running a tourism business, who then found a passion for teaching, speaking or delivering workshops. They bring a richness of the real world, first hand experience, wisdom and lessons learned to The Tourism Cafe.
Others come with formal academic training and have worked for government, private sector or non-profit businesses and became involved in training as a part of their job or consulting practice.
