From rural and remote communities to our urban centers, from tourism professionals to volunteers and students, we work a great deal with destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and economic development agencies to create targeted short programs designed to strengthen tourism businesses ability to evolve with the demands of the travel market, are customer-driven, and remain competitive.
The Tourism Cafe's programs and services are designed to support individual owners, operators, managers, supervisors, as well as destination marketing organizations and government agencies with a tourism mandate and a learning need.
Keys to Our Approach
Rather that just arrive in your community and deliver a canned training program, we we work with you to build your capacity as part of the process and identify how to incorporate a legacy element that remains in the community.
Working with a ground team comprised of individuals representing our client's interests, these people support the development process and take responsibility for targeted activities in the community to reduce the overall project costs of out-sourcing 100% of the project. We build the capacity of the ground team as part of developing the course.
Our collaborating partners are individuals who have a distinct area of expertise that will benefit the project. They are integral to ensuring that you get the best mix of talent for your investment. All our partner are active in their areas of expertise be that sustainability, digital media, marketing, experience development, etc.
